Writers Forum Workshop - Admission
Since the start of 2006, we have had to pay for the use of our venues. The payments requested have been modest, and we are grateful for that to our hosts. Nevertheless, having no funds, even the smallest payment is an impossibility. We rely on donations
Therefore, we have asked everyone attending to donate 50p or more per workshop towards the cost of the use of premises.
We hope not to turn away anyone who cannot pay. Some may find even 50p too much; hence it being described as a donation. We remind the meeting once and after that it is up the individual There is no further pressure.
It is a fact that, if we do not raise sufficient money, there will be a problem.
We welcome donations to either the workshop or the press or both.
A major fund-raising event took place on 14th January 2006 - a reading by Peter Manson, wo gave his services without taking fee or expenses. But the proceeds from that have largely been used.
